What is expected of the students:
- Speak English in the classroom. If you have compatriots in the class – there are many other places where you can talk to each other in your native tongue;
- Please put your phones on silent for the class period;
- Children are not allowed in class;
- Please do your very best to come to class on time;
- Please don’t bring food to class. Water is OK.
- Respect your classmates; be polite and understanding. We are here to improve our English rather than just detect errors; if you feel prompted to correct your classmate, please do it in a tactful way;
- Everybody makes mistakes while using English – even native speakers sometimes; so be brave and outgoing – speak up, listen up, write up, read up!
